Dust and Smoke by qwertyDesign Dust and Smoke by qwertyDesign
A piece showing my latest mech design "Charger" doing what it does best.

This is the mech also featured in "Reload" [link]

Credits:

Hellfire Missiles, parts of GAU 8 cannon and Type 89 APC (pre-destroyed) from Sketchup Warehouse.
Used some firey photo stock. All the rest including photos and textures is my stuff.

C+C of course welcome.

Edit: Many thanks to all who have commented or Fav'd.
I've been overwhelmed by the response. If I haven't got back to you personally please be assured I really appreciate your support.

I love this piece. I also think its cool how you put the writing on the left foot "place survivors here" :D

Thanks Dave!
I wanted a caption that "sells" the piece. :D
I see you're in Utah. I did design work for a company in Moab www.moabundercanvas.com/index.….
Sort of stuff I do when not designing hardware. Thanks for looking.

I tend to go for mini mecha when it comes to real-robot style design, but I still like a lot of the details int his piece and appreciate the context. Nice quality, too!

Thanks for your kind comments.
I like smaller (light?) mech designs too, but I couldn't resist seeing what I could do with a full size battle mech. Incidently I plan on doing a smaller design in the near future. When there's time, right?
